Driveway, steps, porch area, balcony and patio to be swept, any cobwebs removed, gutters and downpipes to be clear from debris.
Windows and sills to be cleaned

Internal throughout:

  • All skirting boards, door frames and window sills need washing and dusting
  • Any finger marks to be removed from doors and door handles and locks to be polished
  • Any wardrobes, cupboards, shelving units, etc. to be wiped out and finger marks removed.
  • All light fittings and radiators to be dusted
  • Any finger marks, scuffs, blemishes to be wiped from walls


  • Sinks, baths, bidets, showers, tile work, etc. need cleaning, drying and polishing
  • Shower heads to be descaled, extractor fans to be cleaned. Waste plugs to be clear of hair/debris


  • Clean all kitchen appliances (oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer) inside and out (oven will probably need taking to bits). Appliances may need to be pulled out and cleaned behind
  • All kitchen cupboards and drawers cleaning inside and out
  • Sink and drainer to be cleaned, dried and polished
  • Floor and tile work to be washed
  • Wipe down architraves and skirting boards
  • Change extractor fan filter if necessary (it probably will be!)

Utility Room:

  • Clean washing machine and dryer (especially soap compartments, filters and doors). Machines will need to be pulled out and area behind cleaned
  • Clean as Kitchen

All Mirrors:

  • To be polished

Garage & Bin Storage:

  • To be swept and any excess rubbish must be removed off site


  • To be cleaned inside and out

Carpets and curtains:

  • To be steam cleaned

Most inventory clerk works to a very high standard and will expect the property to be in A1 condition!!
